Extremely High Quality! Reviews Sangean CL-100 Table-Top Weather Hazard Alert with AM/FM-RBDS Alarm Clock Radio

This Sangean CL-100 Table-Top Weather Hazard radio was easy to set up and use. I was most impressed with the very high quality of this product. The buttons have a very solid click to them and there is absolutely no wobble as this product rests very solidly on any table. Such quality is rare in most consumer electronics this day and age.

The RDS service is great to see what song is playing or when there are weather alerts you can see what is happening. The weather alerts are great here in central Florida as severe storms pop up almost daily during the summer months.
  • DeLuxe Table Top, AM/M Clock Radio
  • All Hazards SAME Weather Radio
  • Receives all NOAA Weather Channels & Reports
  • Certified Public Alert Radio
  • LCD Dimmer & Contrast Control
I just wanted a decent weather radio that would allow me to disable the siren for thunderstorm and flood alerts. Check. Reception on the weather band is good, but when I connected this to my attic FM antenna I was shocked by the quality of the tuner. Very nice radio, with excellent FM reception, weather alert and weather radio features.

The sound quality is very good. I used it as a battery powered radio only once, and it seemed to drain the batteries fast, so I think of it as a battery-backup radio. If you need a LOUD alarm, this will do it by cranking up the radio or beeper volume.

It has great sound for such a small radio and has a hefty quality feel to it. If you are a heavy sleeper, buy this for the alarm clock function alone. Set the alarm on high siren and wake the dead. If you're considering buying a weather radio, I honestly think this is the only real option on the market. This Sangean CL-100 Table-Top Weather Hazard Alert with AM/FM-RBDS Alarm Clock Radio  give advance warnings and allows time to prepare. I highly recommend this radio.
