This Ambient Weather WR-333 Emergency radio seemed just right for us, as we didn't need the strobe and the siren of the higher-end model. Everything functions as described, the radio reception is good and the speaker volume goes louder than we'd need it.

I love this radio! I love the fact that it has so many options such as solar, crank, AC plug and if you wan to put batteries in it you can do thast too! Bottom line...if you are thinking about a weather radio or just a radio that you can use no matter what happens...this is it!! I also got the power cord as I listen to the radio it in my kitchen everyday.

This Sangean CL-100 Table-Top Weather Hazard radio was easy to set up and use. I was most impressed with the very high quality of this product. The buttons have a very solid click to them and there is absolutely no wobble as this product rests very solidly on any table. Such quality is rare in most consumer electronics this day and age.

The RDS service is great to see what song is playing or when there are weather alerts you can see what is happening. The weather alerts are great here in central Florida as severe storms pop up almost daily during the summer months.

Wouldn't change anything about it. It is small enough to be used almost anywhere and gives us increased peace during hurricane season. While the MIDLAND WR300 Weather Radio initial set up does take some work and many button pushes, it works as advertised. I like that the setup allows you to set up which alerts you want to be notified of and can disable the ones that you don't want.

Living in the midwest where sever weather is very common in the summer, I don't want to be woken up in the middle of the night for a sever thunderstorm watch necessarily, but do want an alert for a tornado warning/watch. This MIDLAND WR300 Weather Radio allows you to set it up just that way.
